Snowscene proudly supports Rainbow Mountain – A Heaps Gay Snow Week at Thredbo as the representative of Aspen Snowmass.
This incredible week offers entertainment and activities both on and off the snow and Snowscene has limited packages still available.
Snowscene packages include 7 nights accommodation, 3 day lift passes with rental and Leisure Centre Access and the option of adding 3 days of group ski lessons.
Two events not to be missed are Thursday’s Sparkling Lunch at the Cloud 9 Pop-up Restaurant and Fireside Drinks and Drag on Friday evening between 7 and 8pm. Both are brought to you by Aspen Snowmass. The full schedule can be found online
While you’re there, talk to Snowscene about Aspen Gay Ski Week 2020. This week started as a group of gay tourists from various ski clubs deciding to meet more officially every January, but it became the world’s first and for many years, the only gay ski week.
The political efforts of this group to ensure the civil rights and liberties of gay Americans, led to a landmark civil rights case which eventually brought about constitutional change. It is still the ONLY not for profit ski week in the world, supporting the local (Roaring Fork Valley) LGBTQ youth and Snowscene is very proud to support this event.
