The Happo Nakiyama Lifts are just 400m from the hotel (an easy 10min flat walk) and the courtesy shuttle bus offers a convenient schedule to the other ski slopes in Hakuba Valley as well as taking you around town, to and from dinner nearby (in the Wadano, Echoland restaurant areas).

Hotel Goryukan Hakuba has particularly spacious rooms (for Japan) and very comfortable mattresses. Kick back and relax after your day on the slopes, soak in the inhouse onsen and enjoy a Japanese banquet for dinner. In the hotel there is also a self serve laundry with free detergent provided and dryers. Vending machines in same area are available for beer, hot and cold drinks.

Dining
Restaurant Teppanyaki Sakura is a must do dining experience featuring an open kitchen with a wood burning oven, rotisserie oven and a large teppanyaki grill for live culinary performances. For families and groups we recommend booking one of the special dining rooms for private gatherings.
The dinner menu includes local dishes from Shinshu (the old name for Nagano) cooked with pork, beef and mountain trout in an innovative multi-course Japanese meal. An a la carte menu is available to suit all tastes too.
The hotel’s breakfast buffet is served at this restaurant every morning and features plenty of fresh fruits, cereals, an egg station (cooked to order) with bacon and toast; or try the full Japanese breakfast with noodles, salmon, vegetables and pickles.
