Telluride, Colorado, is a destination that takes your breath away from the moment you arrive. With its stunning mountain views and the charm of its historic town in a box canyon, this place is nothing short of magical. My time in Telluride was a whirlwind of adventure, great food, and local culture.
The snow-covered peaks of the San Juan Mountains stretches as far as you can see, with rugged terrain and towering trees everywhere. After arriving, we stopped at The Peaks Resort and Spa for a welcome lunch.

Next up was one of the highlights of the trip: snowmobiling through the peaks of the San Juan Mountains. There’s something magical about zooming through snow-covered landscapes, surrounded by trees and wilderness. It was the perfect way to experience the beauty of Colorado’s backcountry.

I had a chance to check into Mountain Lodge, I stayed in a four-bedroom cabin with some others from the trip. The cabin was the perfect combination of rustic charm and modern comfort, offering a cozy retreat in Telluride’s Mountain Village. That evening, we attended a hosted dinner, followed by hotel inspections of multiple properties. It was great to see the different accommodation options in the area, each with its own unique offerings.
The night didn’t end there! We headed to the historic Sheridan Opera House, where we enjoyed a live performance by Big Something, a talented local band. The energy in the venue was electric, and it was the perfect way to cap off our first day in Telluride.
Day Two: Skiing, Snowboarding, and Downtown Telluride
Day two started with breakfast and a hotel inspection at Hotel Madeline, a beautiful property with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. After the inspection, we had the chance to ski and snowboard Telluride Mountain. The slopes were in perfect condition, and we had a beautiful blue bird day. Telluride Mountain is an epic mountain, there is something for everyone.

After our morning, we were hosted by our hotel for lunch, followed by a site tour. In the afternoon, we headed back out onto the mountain for more skiing and snowboarding and finished the day with Après at Gorrono Ranch and their famous margaritas.
Our evening was in downtown Telluride for a fantastic dinner hosted by the local tourism body. We spent the evening exploring the town’s vibrant nightlife, from cozy bars to lively spots, it was the perfect way to cap off an unforgettable trip.
