Favourite Ski Resort / Ski Town
My favourite ski resorts are all in Colorado, United States – Park City, Snowmass & Aspen. All unique in character and great skiing at all three.
My favourite ski town is Queenstown.
Snow Holiday Bucket List
We all need a holiday to look forward to… and my bucket list is to take my son to see Santa Claus village in Lapland, Norway. Followed up by a European ski resort experience at Club Med La Rosiere in France.
Favourite Après Ski Scene
‘Après ski’ is always my favourite time of day. The Limelight hotel Snowmass do a stellar job incorporating wine, music and a kids play area.
Recommended Experience
Heli skiing in Queenstown, dog sledding, snow mobile tours & drinking wine are all my favourite experiences no matter what ski resort I am in.

Favourite Ski Resort / Ski Town
Aspen, Colorado as it is a genuine ski town – ticks so many boxes with its history, great food bars and blue bird days.
Snow Holiday Bucket List
Telluride and Jackson Hole, USA
Favourite Après Ski Scene
This would have to be the Hotel Jerome, Aspen – not often you get to enjoy a whiskey in an establishment built in 1889.
Recommended Experience
Hiking the highland bowl (do your training) followed by Cloud 9 in Aspen just don’t forget your poncho and thick wallet.

Favourite Ski Resort / Ski Town
My favourite ski resort is Hakuba, Japan, so many mountains to choose from each day. Favourite ski town is no doubt Queenstown, heaps of activities on offer and the views are amazing.
Snow Holiday Bucket List
A bucket list destination for me is one of the Club Med French ski resorts – Val Thorens, Val Morel or La Rosiere.
Favourite Après Ski Scene
What’s better than doing some great afternoon runs and skiing down to a bar for some pre dinner drinks by the fire while you plan out your night time escapades? Whistler, Canada is the pick for me for the best après ski scene.
Recommended Experience
If visiting the Nagano region of Japan, the Snow Monkeys are a must, and seeing an Ice Hockey game in Canada – memories that last forever.

My favourite ski resort would have to be La Thuile in the Italy’s Aosta Valley and my favourite ski town would be Queenstown, New Zealand.
Snow Holiday Bucket List
I currently have 2 destinations on my bucket list, Mammoth in Eastern California & Club Med Tomamu North Island of Japan.
Favourite Après Ski Scene
Would have to be Queenstown
Recommended Experience
Moonlight Snowshoe Tour at Sun Peaks – this is an easy 1km snowshoe tour where you can relax around a campfire enjoying smores and the views on the return journey are beautiful overlooking the village of sparkling lights.

Favourite Ski Resort / Ski Town
My all-time favourite ski resort and ski town would have to be Kitzbuhel in Austria. Not only is the skiing great, with other resorts close by to check out but the old town atmosphere is always buzzing with lots of people.
Snow Holiday Bucket List
Like everyone I have lots, but I would love to experience a holiday in the North of Japan not only being able to enjoy some great powder but also the fantastic culture.
Favourite Après Ski Scene
Kitzbuhel hands down, however I think any resort is a great place to enjoy the Apres Ski Scene when you are with family and friends discussing the days highlights.
Recommended Experience
Dog sledding, Horse sledding, Wine bars, Local restaurants, First tracks, Schnapps or Mulled Wine by a fireplace or in an Ice Bar just to name a few.

Favourite Ski Resort / Ski Town
My favourite ski town is Banff in Alberta, Canada, where you have easy road access to Sunshine, Norquay and Lake Louise Ski Resorts. Each resort is unique and caters for skiers and boarders of all levels.
Snow Holiday Bucket List
My bucket list experience includes seeing the Northern Lights and some Scandinavian Nordic Skiing.
Favourite Après Ski Scene
The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, one of the Canada’s most iconic hotels is a must for a romantic dinner for two or drinks and dinner with friends. Maybe indulge yourself in a luxury accommodation experience here, it really feels like you are staying in a castle.
Recommended Experience
A thrilling Canadian Dog Sledding Tour or for something more relaxing a Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride, taking in the spectacular Rocky Mountain scenery. Banff also has many Art Galleries that you can visit.

Favourite Ski Resort / Ski Town
Aspen Snowmass in Colorado. Great food, excellent skiing, experienced ski instructors and plenty for non skiers to enjoy. My favourite Australian resort is Mt Buller, Victoria. Ski in ski out village with amazing food and lovely community atmosphere.
Snow Holiday bucket list
Club Med La Rosiere, France. The resort is on the border of France and Italy. How amazing would it be to ski in France in the morning and Italy in the afternoon.
Favourite Après Ski Scene
The W Hotel in Aspen. Views of Aspen Mountain, great cocktails and funky music provided by a live DJ. Best vibe in Aspen!
Recommended Experience
Ziplining in Whistler! Such a thrilling day off from the slopes and the views are amazing.

I’m a big fan of the more traditional Japanese ski resorts like Nozawa Onsen, and quieter Myoko & Madarao.
Snow Holiday Bucket List
Queenstown, Wanaka, Mt Hutt… New Zealand is back on the radar for my next trip.
Favourite Après Ski Scene
Most definitely Chamonix but I did work a whole season there so a lot of great memories. Queenstown too has tremendous nightlife.
