Canada
For many Australians, Canada is their first international ski resort destination. It offers skiers varied terrain, sensational value for money, spectacular scenery and a friendly, welcoming culture. Well-known areas for snow sports include Whistler, Whitewater and Red Mountain in British Columbia; Banff and Lake Louise in Alberta; and Mount Tremblant in Quebec.
Why Canada?
Canada has a huge and incredibly diverse range of ski resorts to choose from – some are renowned for their steep and deep chutes, while others are ideal for affordable family holidays. At Snowscene, we can organise the sort of Canada ski trip you have in mind.
If your family is dreaming of a white Christmas or you’re trying to organise a romantic snow holiday with your partner, Canada won’t disappoint. Adventurous skiers will be in heaven conquering challenging runs and some of the world’s best instructors are here to show beginners the ropes.
Long Winters = More Fun
Lasting up to six months, Canadian winters provide a ski and snowboard playground with flexibility. You can ski in Canada from the end of November right through to April.
As for where to stay when you hang up your boots for the day, accommodation choices range from budget lodges, moderate hotels and self contained apartments (“condos”) right through to top-of-the line luxury properties.
