School Groups – Perisher

There is no ski resort in Australia that compares to the sheer size of Perisher located in the NSW Snowy Mountains. With four mountains combined this is the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere and you can ski across all four areas which include Perisher Valley, Smiggin Holes, Guthega and Blue Cow.  School group ski & snowboard lessons are generally held at  at Smiggins and Blue Cow but this can vary depending on the time of year and snow conditions.  For many this will be a first time on snow but even first timers will progress their skill level so they can enjoy and explore this extensive resort. Hotel accommodation and ski lodge options are wide and varied throughout Perisher Valley. You can choose to stay ‘on snow’ or ‘ski in ski out’ at both Perisher and Smiggins, with a free shuttle bus that runs between the two while the lifts are turning. You can access the Skitube between Perisher Valley and Blue Cow with the more advanced being able to ski or ride between all four areas of this extensive resort. There is accommodation ‘off snow’ in Jindabyne or Wilson’s Valley however there is no experience like stepping out the front door and being on the snow each morning with the ski the lifts in sight.
