Mammoth Mountain Ski Area is one of California’s premier four-season mountain resorts, offering an impressive 3,500 acres of terrain, 28 lifts and around 150 runs. With seven terrain parks and two superpipes, there is plenty to keep skiers and snowboarders entertained throughout the winter season.

Mammoth is famous for its long ski season, which can extend from early November well into May, thanks in part to its high elevation, with the summit reaching 3,369 metres making it the highest skiable elevation in California. Free public transportation makes getting around the resort easy, connecting Mammoth’s three main base areas with The Village and the town of Mammoth Lakes. Each base offers convenient access to ski school, rental shops, restaurants and other resort facilities, while a selection of ski-in/ski-out accommodation puts you right on the mountain. Options range from the classic Village Lodge Hotel to the well-known Westin and the higher end Limelight, with everything from comfortable hotel rooms to spacious, fully equipped luxury condos.
