Start your tour like a rock star with a scenic helicopter flight to a remote mountain location. Soak in the epic views while your pilot pours your first gin of the day, before flying down and landing at Cardrona Distillery and continuing the tour by road.
Your next stop is an easy drive down the Crown Range into the historic gold mining town of Arrowtown where you will visit a wonderful cellar door experience called ‘The Winery’ for a relaxed self-guided experience being able to use the knowledge you have just gained to select your gin tasting paddle along with shared grazing boards. There will be time here for you to buy an additional drink whether that be gin, wine, cocktail, beer or other. This location has the largest range of wines in all of Queenstown and is a delight to walk through and explore.
The last stop is a 15 minute journey to Arthurs Point where you will visit the “Gin Garden by Broken Heart Gin”. Here you will be guided through a range of local Broken Heart gins in a private room with traditional German Tarte Flambee to share.
This gin experience has been designed to be a nice mix of education, sightseeing and fun. It is perfect for all types of people and there is some flexibility to try other spirits such as vodka, bourbon, whiskey and of course wines throughout if you want to balance or restrict your gin intake.
This 6-hour gin experience departs Queenstown daily at 1pm and returns at 7pm.
