Ice Fishing

After arriving at Aurora Village our local guide will meet you and take you down to a nearby lake – one of the best in the area for Ice Fishing. In a heated van, we explore the ice fishing holes and your guide will demonstrate how we ice fish and how we catch fish in the north. After pulling in the lines, hopefully, you are successful in catching something worthy of a photo opportunity. We then take your catch back to the village and into a Teepee where the guide will show you how to prepare fish and you can learn the real art to fishing – filleting. Fish Lunch with soup and Bannock included.
