Kinrara Expeditions

Kinrara Expeditions

Ready for adventure…
This fully catered 5 Day/ 4 Night return tour departs Cairns

Imagine a place where you can combine glamping accommodation, gourmet dining under the stars, a chance to slow down and observe your surroundings with educational experiences, immersive cultural and historical lessons, exciting activities and memories that will last a life time. Sunscene is proud to present this unique experience in our very own backyard. Kinrara Expeditions is located at MacEachern’s Camp on Kinrara cattle property, 4 hours out of Cairns. Described as a 5-day outback expedition to 70,000 acres of remote, breath-taking land, flooded with diverse animal and plant life…

Just 12 guests join the 4WD chauffeured convoy to this remote Outback Oasis and operational cattle property.  Here your hosts offer a rare and unique opportunity to traverse the rugged Outback and get back to the simplicity of nature and connection to country.

No ask is too big for Kinrara Expeditions. During your pre trip departure meeting, Sunscene will find out as much detail as possible to ensure your experience is what you have been dreaming of.

Kids and adults alike will love meeting the farm animals; hearing stories from the station stockmen; learning to make scones and jams and chutney from local produce; and spending the afternoon kayaking, supping, or swimming in crystal clear spring-fed streams; before relaxing in the evening around the campfire and hearing more about Outback Cattle Station Life or the Kinrara Volcano which erupted in the last 20,000 years making it Australia’s youngest volcano.

Each Expedition’s itinerary is handcrafted based on the members of the group, and where their interest lay. This is your experience, your time to relax, recharge or educate yourself on our amazing country and its rich history and Sunscene is here to make it happen.
