Club Med Alpe d’Huez, France

A cosy refuge high up in the Grandes Rousses mountains of the Savoie Region of the French Alps, the Alpe d’Huez Resort is an exceptional spot to guarantee you the most unforgettable ski holiday. This recently renovated and expanded Club Med Snow Resort benefits from sun-soaked ski slopes with an altitude of 1850m and 250km of ski runs.

For a variety of unique experiences put on your skates and glide around the ice rink in the heart of this bustling ski resort; go tandem paragliding over the valley; or try out skijoring (a winter sport in which a person on skis is pulled by a horse). Enjoy après ski drinks on the expansive outdoor terrace with DJ tunes, tastings of local saucisson and views beyond belief. Wherever you look, you know you’re in the French Alps. The ski station of Alpe D’Huez is in fact well known for its amazing sunny weather boasting 300 days of sunshine per year and longer ski days due to this.

From your Club Med resort accommodation you can walk into the village of Alpe D’Huez (an infamous leg on the Tour De France), or simply take the village shuttle bus if you’ve had enough exercise for one day.  On your return to the resort, rest and indulge in a massage at the Club Med Day Spa by PAYOT.

We love this classic French resort for its natural timbers, traditional charm, and warm, cosy ski lodge ambiance. Not to mention the French/Italian cuisine is sensational and the views are simply spectacular – some of the best of any Club Med resort worldwide.

Consider Club Med Alpe d’Huez for your next All Inclusive Ski Holiday in the French Alps, just two and a half hours from Geneva airport, an hour and a half from Grenoble train station, or a two hour transfer from Lyon airport.
