Afternoon S’mores in Snowmass Village

Few things feel more like a classic ski holiday than finishing the day with toasted marshmallows beside a firepit in the mountains. In Snowmass Village, the daily afternoon s’mores tradition has become one of the resort’s most loved winter rituals, bringing families, couples and groups together after a day on the slopes.

Each afternoon from around 3:30pm, guests can gather around the fire pits throughout Snowmass Base Village and the Snowmass Mall to enjoy s’mores served from the resort’s signature marshmallow-shaped carts. With snowy mountain surroundings, crackling fires and the buzz of après all around, it’s a simple but unforgettable alpine experience.

Perfect for children after ski school or adults looking to unwind with something sweet, the atmosphere is relaxed, social and incredibly family-friendly. Visitors can roast marshmallows over the open flames while soaking up the lively village atmosphere as skiers return from the mountain.

Located throughout the heart of Snowmass Village, the s’mores stations are within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, ice skating and The Collective, making it the perfect way to transition from ski day to evening activities.

Why We Love It

This is self explanatory but this classic alpine activity is perfect for all ages and group types and adds the perfect pre dinner ritual to your afternoon. Combine with an après drink before settling into dinner at one of Snowmass’ incredible dining options.
