Aspen it’s a town, a mountain and the quintessential story of skiing in North America. When you hear Aspen, Colorado you might think Glitz and Glamour, but Aspen is so much more than that.

The identities of Aspen Mountain and the city of Aspen are intertwined. What was once a rustic mining town is now one of the world’s most famous cultural centres, as rich with art, dining, and shopping as it once was with veins of silver ore.

Ski instructors become your friends; you won’t want to leave them after a week of lessons or children specific ski camps, you can even ride Max The Moose Bus which the children just love.

Aspen is home to four great mountains opening up terrain for every level of skier from beginners learning to ski for the very first time at Buttermilk to experts dashing down the Face of Bell on Aspen Mountain. There really is something for everyone.

During your stay you will have access to plenty of off snow activities. For families there is ice skating at The Silver Circle Ice Rink adjacent to the St Regis Hotel or enjoy a horse drawn sleigh ride to a log cabin for lunch or dinner.  Whilst the children are at ski school for the adults who love to play, Cloud Nine Alpine Bistro is an experience not to miss – the tables are sturdy enough for dancing (with ski boots on) – the rest we will leave for your imagination.

For adults looking for a livelier time of an evening, Aspen knows how to have a good time. You’ll find many great Après events happening across Aspen as the sun begins to set. Most notable, Ajax Tavern at the base of Aspen Mountain and the W Hotel roof top where you will find local and international DJs as well as live music.  You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to dinner with over 100 places to entice your taste buds.
