Hands up who’s going to miss 2020?
At about this time of the year, we start to wonder where the year went. For educators, it must have gone by in a blur of hard work and frustration.
It is fair to say that in 2020 many parents gained a greater appreciation of just how hard the job of teaching is. Not to mention the debt of gratitude owed to our teachers for the work that went into preparing students and parents for homeschooling. It was a monumental effort, undertaken within almost impossible time constraints. Thank you.
Now it’s Term 4 and I’m guessing that the September holidays were both welcome and too short.
At Snowscene, September is a busy time on the ski fields. It is a popular time also for school groups to enjoy the snow. This year, of course, was different with many missed ski trips, including School Group Tours.
During this time, we learned that things can change drastically and quickly and we, along with many individuals and companies, learned how to adapt.
Snowscene is a licensed, experienced travel company that has been supporting and organising school trips since 1984. With borders reopening around Australia, we are excited to be able to offer our services across a range of travel options.
Our students and educators sadly missed out on important milestones and experiences this year due to the Pandemic. To avoid disappointment in the future, we highly recommend you to start planning and booking your school trips for 2021 & 2022. Whether it be to New Zealand, Japan or closer to home (Tasmania, The Great Barrier Reef or Outback Australia), we can offer your school Unique Educational Adventures; not just School Ski Trips.
With renewed but cautious optimism, we invite you to contact us with any queries to design your Group Tour for the future.
If you’re looking for innovative ideas, we’ve got plenty. We’ve had lots of time to ponder!
