Travelling with infants has become easier

Elsie Cowan cheering aloud she can bring her own bag next trip to Bali Club Med with Snowscene

We all know we have a lot of luggage with kids – even going to Noosa can be a mission with a little one. Well Virgin Australian have made travelling easy, it is the small wins.

Virgin Australia has become the first Australian airline to allow its littlest travellers a dedicated checked baggage allowance when flying on domestic, international short haul and international long haul routes. This means for ski folk – Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Queenstown, Christchurch, Los Angeles and more!

The change means that parents travelling with a child under 23-months-old on Virgin Australia operated flights can check-in one additional 23kg bag free of charge, as well as two special infant items, such as a pram, cot, car seat or baby capsule. Parents travelling with an infant are also welcome to bring an additional 7kg carry-on bag for essential baby products

Harlem is pumped that his bright yellow ear muffs can be packed next time to Queenstown now we will have an extra bag available!
